All dogs have their attractions, and of course, all puppies are cute.

After just finishing college a really cute girl friend and I were heading out to California. I was ecstatic, and quite full of myself at my good fortune.

After meeting the gal my Grandmother brought me down to Earth with this comment..."Maybe you should find someone more interesting and not just pretty."

Well we never made it past Pennsylvania. Grandma was right. Good looks are not enough.



Appearance Vs. Essence

It was a real jolt then, but the experiance has always stayed with me. Good looks are not enough. The appearance of quality is insufficient. There must be an essential quality present, resonant, agreeable, and sufficiently substantial, to be the basis of a long term relationship.
