Teacher-Trainer Primarily, we are known as "Teacher-Trainers" of dogs. Most of our clients simply want the companionship of a well mannered and properly civilized dog; however, we do offer the following: We assist many clients with the selection of their dogs. We are able to recognize, even at a very young age, the basic personality traits of each puppy or dog. Our dogs and our children are not "clean slates" upon which we may design personality. Each is born with unique characteristics making for unique personality. Personality, nature and disposition are not "behaviorist" terms. My Grandmother used to say "It doesn't matter how much food, light and water you give a plant if the seed is not good..." We can assist in all stages of the pup's development. Every parent knows that their children pass through different developmental stages that incline them to certain skills. Imparting these necessary skills and correctly guiding our clients and their dogs through these stages is an important part of the service we can provide. "...any dog at any age." We can "Teach-Train" any dog, at any age. A startling fact for those unfamiliar with our programs..."the older the dog, the easier the dog". Because this is a social based effort and not a behavioral based program, the older the dog, the more social and developed it is, and therefore the easier it is.
All dogs and their owners would benefit from a course in "Relational Dynamics". Our dogs have a language and a culture of their own. Ours is learned, theirs is instinctive. As a surrogate parent to an adopted creature from an alien culture, doesn't it make sense to familiarize yourself with the basis of their relations? Personalized Programs
We can work with you and your dog at your home, locally, nationally, or internationally, or we can arrange to have your dog live with us for a period of time. (Some combine the need for boarding while on vacation with having us care for and work with their dogs). Hourly lessons,our home or yours, per diem work or any combination of arrangements that will produce the desired result are available. We are able to accommodate those with difficult schedules or unusual lifestyles. We have worked with many prominent persons that have required extraordianry accomodations. We have also sucessfully worked with some unusual and idiosyncratic people that required understanding and service tailored to themselves. In short, virtually any arrangement can be made to help you and yours reach your personal goals. Problem Solving and "Extreme Behavior Resolution".
We have an unusually high success rate in helping with the MOST difficult and resistant of problems. Cases of inordinate and entrenched aggression, dogs that are excessively nervous, hyper or dogs that demonstrate inordinate high energy are able to be modulated. We have also been very successful in an area which is very difficult and unhappy for both dog and human, cases of extreme fearfulness. We are able to treat this syndrome with appreciable results. Lastly, we are comfortable and adept at assisting those dogs that have not succeeded elsewhere.
